Fine silver oak leaf pendant

Designed and hand made by Tishpa in the Causeway Coast area of Northern Ireland.

Material fine silver 99.9% silver (0.1% copper), sterling silver 92.5% silver chain, sterling silver bail, sterling silver bead cap and headpin,  4 mm sapphire bead

This is a fine silver, simple oak leaf pendant. A beautiful  piece created from  silver clay.  An acorn is created from a sapphire bead, and a sterling silver headpin and fancy bead cap

The piece is made and smoothed while still in clay format, after drying it is kiln fired leaving a fine silver piece.  A sterling silver  bail is created and attached to the top of the leaf.  The pendant is cleaned and polished to a shiny finish. It is suspended on a sterling silver chain 45cm in length. The acorn is attached to the same bail. The pendant weighs 2.1g and measures 1.9 X 1.0 cm at the widest points, excluding the bail. The acorn measures 1.0 x 0.4 cm. from the top of the bead cap to the bottom of the sapphire bead.

Sapphire is known as the wisdom stone, with the blue variety being associated with love and purity. It is the birthstone for September and would make a lovely present for someone born that month.

The necklace comes in a black box with Tishpa logo in magenta. The price includes UK signed postage.
