Sterling silver bezel set Oval Ruby Rock cabochon pendant

Designed and hand made by Tishpa in the Causeway Coast area of Northern Ireland.

Materials Sterling silver sheet metal, sterling silver gallery wire, sterling silver rectangle bail, sterling silver  chain, a beautiful ruby rock cabochon,

All my pieces are hand crafted and as such are unique.This  necklace is constructed with a   sterling silver filigree oval shaped,  setting, which is made using sterling silver sheet metal and sterling silver gallery wire, 4.5 mm high. A decorative  rectangular  bail is attached to allow the pendant to be suspended from a 50cm sterling silver box chain.  The dramatic cabochon stone is roughly half  deep red, the ruby component  and half green, the fuschite component, giving a beautiful contrast. The pendant , excluding the bail measures 1.3 x 1.5 cm, the sterling silver setting filigree edge allows the lovely stone to take centre stage

 Ruby rock has the attributes of both ruby and fuchsite, thus it is said to aid detoxification of the blood as well as increasing the flexibility in  the musculoskeletal system. It amplifies  the  energy of crystals.  

This piece would be a lovely present for someone with a July birthday as ruby is the birthstone for that month.  It is a simple, yet dramatic piece suitable for everyday wear. It looks lovely against a black outfit
