Sterling silver gold vermeil, stud earrings with fresh water pearls

Materials, Sterling silver, gold vermeil earring post and peg and  scroll backs, matched pair of  rose coloured, teardrop shaped, freshwater pearls

These simple minimalist earrings are suitable for both special occasions  or everyday wear. They would make lovely wedding jewellery.  

The matched pair of  rose coloured freshwater pearls are set in a sterling silver, gold vermeil cup and peg  setting, sterling silver gold vermeil scrolls backs, enable secure fitting of the earrings. The beauty of the pearls are perfect for a simple setting, allowing their natural lustre to shine

Gold vermeil is a core of sterling silver which has been coated with gold. The gold must be at least 14k, with a thickness if at least  2.5 microns. The technique was developed in France in the 18th centuary

The rose coloured pearls measure 6 x 5 mm in size

They would be a lovely present for a June birthday, as pearl is the birthstone for that month, a treat for yourself or an object to complete a outfit, for that special day
